For Pride Event a Point of Difference Project
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms & Conditions (GTC) apply to all services, events, programs, and products offered by Point of Difference (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By registering, attending, purchasing, or participating, users (“you”) agree to these terms.
2. Registration & Contract Conclusion
2.1 Registration for events or services must be completed through the official forms, website, or authorized staff.
2.2 A contract is formed once you receive a written confirmation (email or digital receipt).
2.3 We reserve the right to decline registrations for justified reasons.
3. Payment Terms
3.1 All fees are listed in EUR unless otherwise stated.
3.2 Payment must be completed by the due date stated in the confirmation.
3.3 If payment is not received on time, we may cancel your booking.
3.4 Discounts or promotions apply only if they are valid at the time of booking.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
4.1 Cancellations must be submitted in writing (email is sufficient).
4.2 Refund conditions:
- Up to [30] days before the event: [50]% refund
- [29] days – 10days before the event: [30]% refund
- Less than [10] days before the event: no refund
4.3 If the event is cancelled by us, you will receive a full refund.
4.4 Additional personal costs (travel, accommodation, etc.) are not reimbursed.
5. Event Participation & House Rules
5.1 Participants must follow staff instructions at all times.
5.2 Discrimination, harassment, bullying, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
5.3 We reserve the right to remove participants who violate rules; refunds will not be granted.
5.4 Parents/guardians remain responsible for their children unless otherwise stated for supervised programs.
6. Changes to Programs & Services
6.1 We may make reasonable changes to schedules, activities, or locations due to safety, weather, or organizational reasons.
6.2 Such changes do not entitle participants to refunds, unless the overall purpose of the event is significantly altered.
7. Liability
7.1 Participation is at your own risk.
7.2 We are not liable for accidents, injuries, or property loss unless caused by gross negligence or intentional misconduct on our part.
7.3 You are responsible for securing your personal belongings.
8. Health & Safety
8.1 You confirm that you and/or your children are physically able to participate in the event.
8.2 Allergies, medications, or special needs must be disclosed in advance.
8.3 We follow applicable safety regulations and reserve the right to refuse participation for health or safety concerns.
9. Data Protection (Privacy)
9.1 Personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy.
9.2 Participation may include photos/videos for documentation and marketing; you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.
10. Intellectual Property
All materials, logos, texts, and designs provided by Point of Difference remain our intellectual property and may not be used without written permission.
11. Force Majeure
In cases of events outside our control (e.g., severe weather, pandemics, strikes), we may postpone or adapt services. Refunds are subject to Section 4.
12. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
These GTC are governed by the laws of Germany.
Jurisdiction for disputes is Aurich, unless mandatory law states otherwise.
13. Final Provisions
If individual clauses of these GTC become invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
We may update these GTC at any time; the version applicable at the time of booking applies.
